Our pricing is based on time required, plus third-party costs.

Braine Consulting prices our work on a per-project basis, using our estimates of time required for specific projects.

Statements of Work

Each engagement is described in a detailed Statement of Work that includes the scope of the project in the context of the client’s overall objectives. This helps keep the project in line with the client’s goals and defines the deliverables and process. Additional potential work outside the scope can be specifically noted and priced in the statement.

If our estimates are off, we won’t charge you more. We’ll just get better at estimating.

  • It can be simple: writing and design for a one-sheet selling tool might cost $500 for discovery, iteration, and finalization, with additional costs for printing if desired.

  • It can be more complex: creating a marketing plan for the holiday season, plus writing and design of a centerpiece giveaway book or calendar, might cost $5,000, with additional costs for printing, social media buying, audience list purchases, or other external expenses.

Subcontracting

We may propose subcontracting portions of jobs, which will be priced and detailed in the statement of work.

Overhead

If your project requires us to buy new software or other services or equipment that will be re-used in other engagements, we will not include such purchases in our pricing.

Travel

We will charge all direct costs of travel to the client, as well as a discounted hourly rate for travel time.

We are happy to discuss retained consulting, as well.
